There is never a good day for a funeral, but this sure had to be bad one.
17 degrees & blowing snow.

Danny had the privilege to preach Violet Curtis Magness' funeral Wednesday.  She was buried at York Cemetery in Bergman.




When the family leaves Danny feels a deep obligation to stay & see things through to the very end.
He grabbed a shovel & helped James Roy.

 Danny never leaves until the very last dirt has been properly placed.

Thank you God for the blessing Violet has been to us.
Please comfort and continue to bless her family.

It's Party Time

Well we made it to mom's for the party.
We had planned to have it at the church, but Highway 7 was too bad & people were off in the ditch & traffic was backed up.
So we all met at mom's instead.

Hard to believe she is 80!

Darrell did a good job on the cake.

Kids & grandkids that were able to make it through the snow.

Well most of us made it home safely through the snow. 

Cheri & Glen were not quite as fortunate.  

They hit a really slick patch by Saddlebrook & had to choose the bluff or the median.  

They chose the median.  

Had to have a tow truck tow the car.  But they are all fine - Thank You God for that.

The Big 80

Sue, Mom, Granny, Granny Soup ~ whatever you call her ~ 
is the BIG 80 today.  
She was born Mary Sue O'Quinn on February 4, 1931 
to Reg & Madge O'Quinn.

Snow Day

It started out as rain then ice...
Oh no that usually means no electricity!

Then the sleet began to fall...
Our electricity was still on :)

Then the snow came...
And thank you Lord our electricity was still on!

Then our winter wonderland

Thank you God for our warm home and food on our table.  Thank you for our Many Blessings.

Work Day at Church

We had a few things to accomplish.
1)  Move the piano.
2)  Run wires overhead for the sound board.
3)  Eat

 Some worked

 Some watched

 Some talked

 Some slept

Some climbed

 Some supervised

Some discussed


It was a very successful afternoon.
Piano was moved.  Wires were ran.  We ate.  Mission Accomplished!
