After a wonderful two weeks with Garrett, Sheree' & Reese I am now back home. Of course I miss them terribly, but we will be going back this weekend & Mary Beth, Alex & Maelea will be there! Yippee!!
What a wonderful Easter it will be.
Our little darling Reese.
I think it's against the law for the mom to look this good just days after giving birth...
One proud Daddy & one proud Pappy
Believe it or not I have more photos of our little precious Reese.
Stay Tuned!

Pippo & Pappy Ecstatic Bliss
I love the word "grandchildren". We have TWO beautiful granddaughters.
Pippo & Pappy are in absolute ecstatic bliss.
We can't wait to see them side by side.
I think they will look like sisters.

Daddy's hands
As with most men and newborns, Justin did not want to hold her in fear she would break.
Daddy said nothing doin' - you are going to hold her.
And he did.
For this child I prayed
Today I am leaving & I will have the honored privilege of going & staying with this precious family & helping out for the next several days. Pippo will be quite contented. Pray for Pappy.
Oh what showers of blessings.
And as you might imagine there will be a few more photos.
See you when I return!

The Day Reese Arrived
We all began in the actual waiting room.
We were able to go back & visit with them in the room.
Then we moved to the hall right outside Sheree's room.
We just had to know what was going on, so we got the play by play from these girls.
If someone had opened that door, they would have fell right in :)
Such good & caring friends. Lots of Love.
When she was born we could hear her cry & we all cheered!
Then after we waited what seemed forever we all came in & Family & Friends shared in the joy of this sweet little miracle.

Our Little Miracle
God has truly blessed us! Reese Kate McMullen was born April 3rd @ 2:23 a.m.
She weighed 6 pounds 4 ounces & was 19 inches long. And she is healthy!
Her mom & dad did a fantastic job.
We are so thankful to welcome this beautiful granddaughter into this world.

Thank you Lord.
Thank you to all who prayed, cared, loved, shared, gave, cried & laughed with us.
Your Faith & Love will always be cherished & remembered.
Pippo is going to take a nap now.
I will post more photos you can rest assured!

Auction & Fun With Friends on a Saturday
Last Saturday Danny & I went to an auction. He went for old car parts & "stuff". I went for a bargain. Auctions & auctioneering are in my blood, I was born & raised in it, so I was looking forward to this.
We had a lot of fun. Johnny & Samantha were there & so was Harold. As we each would have the winning bid & obtain our treasures we had a little spot carved out for them, Samantha held down the spot & watched over our goodies.
Samantha bought a pair of earrings & just couldn't wait & put them on before the day was over.
Johnny bought lots of old car stuff & car books. Harold bought lots of car stuff & each time he came with his treasures he would be smiling & we knew he had just got a bargain. Danny was so into bidding his back & shoulders were tired! What a day with friends.
This is what I wanted & I got them at a bargain (of course).

This is one of Danny's many treasures he spied in a miscellaneous box. Of course he looked them up on the internet & they are quite valuable as well as old.
Flea Market Friday with Sisters & Mom
Last Friday Judy, Mom & I met Cheri in Ozark and we went to the Goodwill Store & a Flea Market and found lots of goodies (I love it when it says this booth 50% off). We ate at the Lemon Drop Tearoom (YUMMY)! And of course we talked & laughed non-stop (the staff even came out & said they enjoyed hearing us laugh). It was a great day & ended way too soon. But we are planning a swap meet & tearoom lunch day soon - looking forward to that.
I slobbered all over this glass display when I spotted these beautiful cameras. They were not 50% off.

Project & Dreams
I have been wanting a late 40's early 50's 1/2 ton pick up to fix up & drive around. I have a vision...
And Danny being the great husband he is began in earnest to find one.
Well we were blessed to be able to find & purchase this 1949 GMC from Linda & Leroy McCormick.
I am so excited! I have plans & dreams and I have a lot to learn, but I have the best mechanic & teacher ever by my side. So let the work begin!
Here it is on the trailer.
You can bet there will be lots of photos of Before, During & After.
Can't you just see Maelea, Reese & Pippo puttin' around on the farm in this?????
Oh the places we will go.
I think it is "cute". Danny does not understand "cute" as a description of this truck.
I want to name it - I'm thinking a male name with 3 letters or 1 syllable. Any suggestions???
