My Valentine

Danny did not have to go to work today because of the weather.  So I slept in.  
He came & woke me up and said I made you a Valentine but you have to get up & see it.  
So I walked to the window & this is what I saw

MY DADDY IS 25 TODAY!

When I woke up this morning I had a smile on my face & in my heart because 25 years ago today we were blessed with the best gift - Daniel Garrett McMullen.
And when I called him it made me so happy to know that his wife carries on our birthday tradition of birthday cinnamon rolls & most importantly the birthday boy got the center one!
How blessed we are!
God not only gave us Garrett but then we also get Sheree' & Reese!  Doesn't get much better than that :)

Danny's Birthday

For Danny's birthday my mom & his mom took us to eat at the Golden Corral in Branson.  

Man was it good!

An Awesome Gift

When I was in the fourth grade my classroom teacher was Mrs. Dickey.  I loved her.  As most good teachers do she read to us.  I can distinctly remember her reading to us a story about a secret horse.  I was enthralled each time we sat down on the floor by her feet ~ I LOVED that book.  I could really relate to all the hard work the girls had to do for their horse.  
I guess I talked about that book a lot because my sister knew how special it was to me and she found it for me for a gift for Christmas.  I read it as soon as I got home.  I cherish it and can't wait to read it to Maelea & Reese.

I can remember the day I learned to read ~ Tip ~ and I have always loved to read.  The library was the best place in the world to me.  I didn't actually own very many books when I was young, but the ones I did own I read many many times.  It's exciting to me to see my family enjoy reading, too.  I enjoy reading to the girls and can't wait to read some more with them!
So grab a good book, curl up by the fire and have a warm drink!

Center of Attention

Danny & I have made some changes in our lives & it was so good to spend time with Garrett, Sheree & Reese.  It is such a blessing to watch them be servants for God.

Now we are searching & praying to be the workers that God wants us to be.  Please pray for us.
