Taking It For Granted

Our neighbors have orchards & every year we get the privilege of driving by & enjoying everything from the workers pruning, the beautiful blossoms, the fruit & the rewards.  Every year I kept saying I wanted to take photos of the peach tree blossoms & never getting around to it thinking oh well there is next year.  But I need to quit taking things for granted & enjoy what God has given us - His wonderful beautiful blessings.  Not everybody gets to live by an orchard.
This little photo opp caused a problem....it made us late to church because we had a flat.  But Danny is a 1 man pit crew & we were only a few minutes late.
The old devil thought he could discourage us from taking pictures of God's blessings & he thought he could keep us from going to church - Wrong on both counts!

I would not even begin to deny that I might be a bit prejudiced when it comes to how pretty my Maelea Bear is.  But what do you think?

She is very contented & easy to entertain.  Even a pair of "pink dancing pants" from mom is the best!

Super Great Weekend

First Garrett was able to come & spend a long weekend with us before he started his new job Monday.
Then Maelea, Mary Beth & Alex came late Friday night, we waited for them like it was Christmas :)
And on Sunday we had a shower for Sheree' & Garrett & the baby girl's name was revealed....

And of course Garrett did lots of snuggling with Maelea :)

Danny & Alex worked on the 67 Ford "Ol Gal" & we came to check on their progress.
And she sounds good!

And the trip to Pippo & Pappy's just wouldn't be complete without being "folded up & put in the sink"

Ahhhh this is the life

Needless to say there were a lot more photos taken but I am going to stop for now.

Garrett & Sheree' had a doctor's appointment today with an ultrasound.
Reese Kate McMullen weighs 5 pounds & 10 ounces!!  And everything looks good :)
Sheree' has already begun to dilate & is at 1 cm.   So whenever the good Lord says it's time,
look out, because here come Pippo & Pappy to Springfield!!!!!  Can't wait to see this sweet little girl :)
God is good!!

So Blessed Baby Shower

Garrett & Sheree' have a wonderful church family.
The sweet ladies at their church gave them a shower Sunday
& I was able to drive up & share in the fun.

Garrett was able to get off work & come join the fun.

And fun was had by all...

Sheree' got to pick out the piece of cake she wanted :)
